Lured in to the darkest depths of London post-Durham Uni, where he met James Atkinson, Sam needs little persuasion to escape on the bike. True to his Yorkshire roots, Sam particularly enjoyed 'working up an honest thirst' during many a 'good day down the mine' with the OneMileCloser team in 2009. Riding in 2012 for the cause, the people and the pleasure... and the yellow jersey?! ;)
